Description

Folate is the combination of two water soluble B vitamins: Folic acid and vitamin B12. In this formula folate is provided as Metafolin, that is, the active form of folate which is naturally occurring and very easily metabolised.

At a chemical level, Metafolin is identical to metabolized folate (L-5-MTHF). This is the predominant form of folate in foods. After going through several enzymatic activation pathways, the body uses it directly, providing all the positive benefits of folic acid, regardless of genetic or functional variations in each person.

In this supplement, vitamin B12 is formulated as methylcobalamin, the most bioavailable form of this vitamin.
